4 DAYS/3 NIGHTS
07:00am Registration at the Rinjani Trek Center (RTC) 601m and start the trek to Pos 1 (Bunut ngengkang) 750m, walking time about 1 hour. We will rest for 5 mins, and then continue to Pos 2 (Montong Satas) 1500m, walking time about 2 hrs. At Pos 2 (montong stas) we will have lunch, a hot drink, fresh fruits and a rest. Then we will continue to Pos 3 (Mondokan Lokak) 2000m, walking time about 2 hrs. We will rest for 5 mins and then continue to Senaru Crater Rim 2641m, walking time about 2 hrs. From Senaru Crater Rim, you can see a spectacular view; Segara Anak Lake, Baby Volcano, Summit of Mt. Rinjani, Gili Air, Gili Meno, Gili Terawangan, and Bali also. We will enjoy the sunset, and then camp overnight here.
After breakfast and enjoying the sunrise, we will go down to Segara Anak Lake 2000m, walking time about 2 hrs. We will go to hot springs, for a relaxing natural hot spa, walking time only 10 mins from the lake. We will return to the lake have lunch here, then spend the afternoon relaxing, We will camp overnight here at the lake.
After breakfast, we will explore and enjoy the lake with the option to do some fishing and swimming. After lunch, we will continue to trek to the Sembalun Crater Rim, walking time about 3 hours. From here we will enjoy the sunset and the incredible view of the Lake, Rinjani Summit and Sembalun. We will camp Overnight here.
02:00am wake up and have a light breakfast. 03.00am Start the trek to the Rinjani Summit (3726m) Walking time about 3 hrs and 40 mins. The 1st stage is a moderate climb for 2 hrs, the 2nd stage is a fairly easy but long trek. The last hour is very steep and difficult. ( There are many loose stones, and as you take two steps forward, you will slip one step back.) From the Summit, you can see all of Lombok Island, Bali, Sumbawa and Segara Anak Lake. After sunrise we will go down to the Sembalun Crater Rim and have breakfast. After breakfast and a rest, we will continue to go down to Sembalun Village , walking time 5 hours, and this is the completion of the Trekking program.
