The Difference between Scooter Matic and Sport Bike

As is already known, there are three kinds of motorcycles available in the market, namely regular bike, matic bike and sport bike. 1) Body of the Bike

The obvious differences can also be seen on the capacity of the tank, in which sport Bike comes with a tank with a much larger capacity (about 10-liter).

 

3) Transmission system

Scooter matic comes with automatic transmission called CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), so that gear shift does not need to be changed manually. This system allows the rider to act more freely when accelerate the bike.

 

In sport Bike, the transmission system comes with a combination of manual gear brake and clutch. It takes more energy to drive a sport bike, because you have to set the switching gear using the clutch lever on the left side.

 

4) Braking system

Not much difference between scooter matic and sport Bike in terms of braking system. The brake lever of both is located mainly on the right handlebar. Nevertheless, scooter matic provides additional options such as a brake lever on the left handlebar, whereas sport bike replace the brake lever with clutch lever.

 

5) Maintenance costs

When it comes to errors detection, the scooter matic proves to be more difficult to detect. The maintenance costs will then become more expensive than a regular bike. Scooter matic also known as a type of vehicle that does not have an engine with good endurance.

 

Sport Bike comes with an engine that is much more durable. However, several other parts of a sport Bike also prove to be very expensive. In other words, sport bike parts can be costly.

 

6) Fuel consumption

Scooter matic is usually greedier when consuming fuel, caused by CVT transmission system. Meanwhile, fuel consumption on a sport bike is also quite greedy because of the large body that demands more power from the engine.
